base2Services to open office in US in 2017

This news release is provided by base2Services on the 09 December 2016

base2Services will be opening a new US office in mid-2017 in response to our fast-growing client base from North America.

Looking at Boulder, Kansas City or Austin locations, we will kick off this new US base with a team of five staff, with plans to expand as our portfolio grows throughout the US.

base2 approach uniquely appealing to developers

base2Services’ MD Arthur Marinis says that over the last two years, our unique offering has attracted significant numbers of customers from North America and is already contributing 20 per cent of base2’s revenue.

“Our service is unique in that everything we do and say helps development teams in existing companies, big or small, leverage the cloud and automate. They are the ones who know how vital it is to speed up development times and to be able to change quickly.

“These teams are the ones searching for DevOps around the world,” says Marinis.

“After searching online they find base2Services can provide the right consulting and managed services to help them migrate to the cloud, optimise their cloud infrastructure and implement DevOps processes. They aren’t nervous about our location as most already use the cloud and most are used to working remotely. It also helps that we provide 24/7 support.”

Serving as an extension to teams – wherever they are located

Despite steady overseas growth base2’s focus is still on Australia, and our commitment is to grow our customer base by 200 per cent over the next 12-18 months.

“We are finding that we are standing out in the market because we are very collaborative and put a lot of time into training in-house teams,” says Marinis.

“Many in-house teams are usually trying to do it themselves, which some can. But we get our customers up to speed and work as an extension to their team. We take care of the operation of their infrastructure so they can concentrate on working on their business or product instead. All at a fixed monthly price.”
